Squadron Defense Group Announces Leadership Hire for Managed Security Services Unit
Sterling, VA (May13, 2019) – Squadron Defense Group, Inc. (https://www.SquadronDefenseGroup.com), a leading provider of turnkey security products and services announced today that Stephanie Stewart has joined the organization as its Director of Managed Security Services. In this role, Stephanie will be responsible for leading the organization’s consulting staff and its customer support programs, while assisting in the creating of new product offerings and related business development efforts.
The announcement was made today by Keith Marino, President and CEO of Squadron Defense, as he also spoke about the changes underway within the security industry. “It is clear the days of ‘check-the-box’ compliance are over. Companies operating within the Federal Government arena and more broadly in the commercial marketplace are becoming painfully aware they must elevate the effectiveness of their security programs or run the risk of industrial espionage by malign individuals and nation-state adversaries. We’ve known Stephanie personally and professionally, and she brings more than fifteen years of exceptional experience, most recently with Northrup Grumman, in establishing and operating security programs at the highest levels across a variety of industries and agencies. Importantly, she possesses an equally strong commitment to customer service. We are delighted to have her join the Squadron Defense team.”
“My entire career has been dedicated to improving our country’s national security posture,” said Stewart. “I am excited to be part of such a unique organization, and share its commitment to this cause at such a critical time in our country’s history. I look forward working with the entire Squadron Defense team, and applying my experience to the security programs of all our clients.
